Good book for those who want to get into weight training but are hesitant because of their lack of mobility. Very well explained and has plenty of pictures from both front and side angles for each movement. It was a good refresher for me to read up on how to find bad/incorrect body positions for certain exercises. Lacks information on rehab exercises. Most, if not all rehab exercises presented in the last section of the book could be summarized as "rub lacrosse ball on the area of discomfort".

This book contains plenty of pictures and great explanations of why we have pain and ways to get rid of it.
If you read through this book from start to finish, you will understand how to move properly and eliminate your pain.
You can also browse through the book to just the parts you need to get rid of pain immediately.
Either way, this is a powerful resource to start your journey to a pain-free life.

I disagree with stew. The movements can be done anywhere and without coaching.
Get this excellent book and use it.

An advanced book on movement and mobility to improve athletic performance, This book is as much designed for coaches as it is for athletes. It does contain some basic mobility exercises for a novice athlete but is focused on movement and mobility exercises that would be done in a gym usually with a coach or some other partner.
