I really enjoyed this book. Very interesting to hear about her experience competing for and as Miss America at the height of Jewish Anti semitism. Both a hero and not depending upon the audience. Such an interesting contrast. Miss Minnesota 1945, Arlene Anderson is also featured in the book as she was in the top 5 at Miss America that year and traveled with Myerson to perform.
