Very inspiring true stories of amazing women who fought for their right to serve their countries in World War I. This book covers women soldiers, spies, resisters, and journalists who in some cases lost their lives, and in others found purpose.

This is a simple account of the lives of 16 women heroes of World War I. It does include some interesting dialogue and direct quotes which makes the book somewhat interesting but overall it is not an in-depth examination but rather a cursory look at these 16 women ( and perhaps better suited for the library's junior designation).
