In Black City, Ash and Natalie fell in love...

In Phoenix, Ash and Natalie got engaged, began a war, and one of them fell dangerously ill...

In Wings, Natalie and Ash have been separated once again. Ash is lost, looking for a way to fight the war and figure out where Natalie is, while Natalie faces her past in new ways...

Wings also introduces a new point-of-view in a boy named Edmund, who may be the key to everything...

KC Rating: 5/5

This series blew me away. Oh my God. Wow.

This is the first trilogy I have read where the last book is better than the first. The new POV of Edmund that I hated in the beginning became one of my favourites. This book ties the entire trilogy together, and everything makes so much sense! I could be heard screaming at the book when certain revelations unfolded...

This cover was the one that made me pick up Black City and Phoenix. This book made every single eye-roll and sigh worth it. The amount of characterization and plot development that this book contains had me flipping furiously through the pages until I came to the chilling and nail biting conclusion.

I loved this trilogy.

I know my daughter will disagree with me, but I thought this third book of the Black city series was just Ok. The first book was the best. In this book, everything is resolved, but there is too much angst about the connection between Natalie and Ash, for me.
