An adorable book, I loved the illustrations and the story was just like licorice.

Clover is a young girl who loves animals but she always seems to have terrible luck with them; her cat moved out, her goldfish leapt into the toilet, and her bird escaped.

That's why when she enrolls in an adoption agency she assumes that her luck won't hold, so when the agency's owner leaves to get something it's not surprising that things start going wrong.

Witches, unicorns, dragons, George's tale, like candy, leaves you on the edge of your seat wanting more.

Fantastic book for animal lovers! My 5 year old loved it and was so excited to have me read another chapter each night ... she begged for more. Such a sweet story, great creatures, and the main character is empowered to solve her own problems each step of the way. Many other great lessons too for opening up conversations.

If you love animals, magic, fairy-tale woods and becoming a trusted helper in a pet project much trickier than it seems, you’ll fit in right where you belong: like Clover does in this first sweet and charming book from The Magical Animal Adoption Agency series!

I really loved this story and as soon as I finished reading it, I was wondering if this is a series. And it was! so now, I am really excited to read it!

A wonderful story. Poor Clover has always had bad luck but that all changes when she becomes a champion to the magical animals that are up for adoption. Children should love the story; I did and I'm over sixty.
