I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I did not realize it was the beginning of a series, and the way it ended, for me it could stand alone, however, I may seek to read more books by this author. I found her character development well written, her dialogue believable, and the overall story very well developed.

Ms. Wallace is quite the story spinner herself. I read this book in a matter of 3 days. Story Spinner is one of those books that you want to continue reading, but you do not want the story to end. I would definitely recommend this book to others.

Ms. Wallace also writes in such a way without the need to use derogatory or foul language. She is quite imaginative and a delight to read.

A compelling book, the first in a series, set in a fantasy realm with two different races of people. The heroine is strongly written from the start and sympathetic, and the author brings in numerous themes, including family secrets, political intrigue, mystical abilities, class differences, and relationship dynamics. The writing is crisp and moves along briskly. The characters are given the right amount of depth, and the book makes for a good read not just for teens, but adult readers as well.
