In central China, a vast underground mausoleum conceals a life-size terracotta army built to serve China's first emperor, Qin Shi Huang Di, in the afterlife. With exclusive access to pioneering research, it reveals how the Emperor directed the manufacture of the tens of thousands of bronze weapons carried by the clay soldiers including lethal crossbows engineered with astonishing precision.

A very well done documentary. Especially relevant for me since I saw an exhibit at the Chinese Cultural Centre. Rounded out the experience for me and gave me the background behind these armies. Wow, what humans will do to one another is horrific, what they can achieve when they want is breathtaking.

Fascinating documentary on recently discovered terra cotta army that was created around 200 BC
