Miji Campbell grew up in a close-knit family in the 1960s and '70s, in a middle-class Calgary suburb called Kingsland. Her life proceeds in an orderly fashion until she moves away from home and then suddenly, inexplicably, it begins to unravel. Night after night, Miji wrestles with insomnia and increasing anxiousness. It's not until middle age that Miji learns she has an anxiety disorder and finds ways to quiet her mind and body. Through acts of courage and grace, she learns to stand - tentatively, hopefully - on her own.

A good read! The life of an ordinary woman and her battle with anxiety. She is an amazing story teller who weaves her past and present life together with a flow that makes for a great read. I think everyone can identify at least a little bit with the author leaving you thinking, I remember that or I'm not alone.
