This is a very beautiful cookbook with many great recipes by Van. Island Chef Angelo Prosperi-Porta.
Bought a copy and giving it as a gift with some local honey this holiday season.
Probably will be so tempted by the library copy will have to buy it again for myself.
Also TouchWood has just released the 'Deerholme Vegetable Cookbook'. Another beautiful cookbook with fabulous recipes featuring locally grown veggies and was featured recently on the CBC radio. It too is avail. through our library and would be a great gift.
