On May 12, 2014, Swiss-born, fantasy artist, H.R. Giger died at the age of 74.
If you're not at all familiar with the name of H.R. Giger, then I'm sure you're most likely familiar with the classic, 1979, Sci-Fi/Shocker, Alien.
It was, of course, Giger who was the one responsible for designing this film's awesome creature who terrorized space travellers like they've never been terrorized before, or since.
This documentary features the fantastically bizarre artwork of Hans Rudolf Giger.
Covering his career from its beginnings in the mid-1960s to his extensive exhibitions in early 2000, Giger has proven, time and again, that he was, without question, a true master of his craft.
With this review I pay respectful tribute to this talented man and his unique contribution to the wonderful world of art.
