The strong opener "California Kids", followed by the single "King of the World", form the two strongest and catchiest anthems of the album. "Endless Bummer" for me is the third strongest track. "Thank God For Girls" was a cool hip hop swag kinda song. Other than that, I did not find too much else sticking out on The White Album my first go round listening to the tunes. But overall, I think this is a good album.
Ah Weezer... you are the Peter Pan of 90's alternative rock... Never grow up! Never change! I'm not sure how many adolescent lovesongs Rivers Cuomo can write and still be entertaining but he hasn't hit that limit yet. (Favs: California Kids, Thank God For Girls, (Girl We Got A) Good Thing)
Weezer's best album since Pinkerton. Definitely not as good as their Blue Album or Pinkerton, but still a decent record.
