This was a decent film about a cab driver dying from stomach cancer, and the painful decision(s) associated with voluntary human euthanasia. Set in the Australian outback, its elements are slow but poignant.

Thought provoking and often funny tale of euthanasia based on Reg Cribb's play of the same name. A cab driver drove 3000 km to Darwin to get euthanized, changed his mind at the last minute and drove 3000 km all the way back to his town to die on his own term. With a charismatic cast (not cute Hollywood types), superb cinematography and scenes on the road reminiscent of Bergman's Wild Strawberry, this film deserves a wider audience.
