It was a bit slow reading in the beginning but half way through the story I couldn't wait to get to the end and I am now reading the sequel.

Not as engaging as Wolfskin and Foxmask or the Dauther of the Forest series, but Juliet Marilliet's writing is so wonderful that I never tire of reading her books.
