I can't imagine anyone being disappointed with this movie because it is exactly what anyone would expect. There are lots of CGI dinosaurs. There's lots of action and lots of split second, death-defying escapes for the heroes. There are some generic baddies who are up to no good and who are trying to profit from the dinosaurs. The plot itself is convoluted and silly, but none of that really matters. It was fun and entertaining. It was good popcorn movie. I was also very pleased to see Bryce Dallas Howard was wearing sensible boots when running for her life in this movie, which was a huge improvement over those ridiculous, improbable heels that she was racing around in for the first Jurassic World movie, so hurray for that.

While most here seemed disappointed in this movie, if you're a 'dinosaur action' lover, this film will NOT disappoint you! The visual technology used continues to evolve and the pace of the film is on par with any of the others. I liked the spin used with an 'auction', and the non-stop action, though its no Oscar contender, LOL. If you like Jurassic genre movies, this one is right up your alley

I have to agree with most of the comments posted. This film is okay. The dialogue is so trite and predictable I was voicing the actors next line before they did. I was able to do the same with the scenes, as the storyline is a no brainer. The sets and the CGI work were very good and almost made this worth watching without skipping chapters.

Lazy writing, but pretty good special effects. Not worth seeing in my opinion.

The only really great thing about this film for me was the special effects. Loved the dinosaurs and the events on the island. I thought the writing was weak, and the characters. It seemed like they were all waiting for the other character to make the first move. I hated the way that it ended, with absolutely no reality of what might happen on earth with a mix of humans, trying to run a normal life, and dinosaurs, who wreak havoc everywhere they go. The final decision in the film was wimpy, and not well thought out. In fact, it pissed me off. The producers must want to make a sequel, so they set themselves up for it.

Very disappointing. It really lacked the spirit of the original 3 and even of Jurassic World 1. The premise issue with the volcano was TOO ironic and cliche, the mansion scene was more reminiscent of A Series of Unfortunate Events or Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, the mutant's super slow claw scenes more like a B rate sci-fi horror film or something out of The Chronicles of Riddick. And the whole issue with the little girl was a completely different plot for a different movie. This was a sad, heartbreaking stain on the series that captivated me as a child. You're better off not watching it, and saving the fantastical spirit of the Jurassic Park.

I was happy to Goldblum though.

Jurassic World II starts weakly: despite the disastrous history of human/dinosaur interactions, characters are still debating whether they should be conserved, for some reason. However, the main place where they are conserved is a volcanic island, for some reason (when describing this film, you will use "for some reason" a lot.) The volcano erupts, shenanigans ensue, but that's not enough plot for a complete film. So it has another story about dinosaurs being illegally manufactured and sold -- criminals think dinosaurs make better weapons than actual weapons, for some reason. And then, believe it or not (another phrase you will use frequently) the story turns into a creepy old mansion mystery, with a dinosaur stalking a little girl. The mansion's owner and grandfather to the little girl, who was also a friend of the late owner of Jurassic Park, has not noticed the dinosaur manufacturing and storage facility his assistant has built underneath the house. So. Will this film turn out to be the stupidest of all the Jurassic Park-related movies, or will the next one, apparently about dinosaurs running loose on the mainland, be even worse? ETA: This is NOT a film for young children, what with all the violent dinosaur deaths and murder and things.

Ok, all I kept thinking while watching this was, are these guys under contract? Is that why they're in this movie? Honestly, so not worth it.

Jurassic World is a movie set 22 years after the events of Jurassic Park. The film revolves around two teenage brothers, Zack and Gray Mitchell, who visit the theme park. Other important characters are Claire Dearing, (the operations manager and Zach’s and Gray’s aunt, played by Bryce Dallas Howard) and Owen Grady (velociraptor expert, played by Chris Pratt). All seems to be going fine until the latest attraction at the park, the Indominus Rex, escapes into the island’s interior. The dinosaur is extremely dangerous and it goes on a killing spree, forcing others to flee. The movie then showcases more characters, the effects of the deadly dinosaurs, and the corruption within the theme park. These create engaging scenes that drive the plot forward in spite of the theme being similar to that of the previous films. Moreover, these aspects of the movie are complemented by visually appealing action sequences, as well as well as some witty dialogues. The CGI is also very realistic. All in all, I would give the film 4 stars. @Riveting_Reviews of the Hamilton Public Library Teen Review Board

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is a sequel to Jurassic World. Years after the destruction of the Jurassic World theme park, experts Owen Grady and Claire Dearing return to the island of Isla Nublar in an attempt to save as many of the remaining dinosaurs from a volcano that's about to erupt. Soon, the two encounter terrifying new breeds of gigantic dinosaurs, while at the same time unraveling a conspiracy that could threaten the entire planet. If you enjoyed the first Jurassic World Movie, I would highly recommend watching the second. This movie is just as thrilling and entertaining as the first. I do believe that it is important to watch the first movie to understand what happens in the second, even though the stories are different. They did an amazing job with this movie while looking at both sides of the genetically modified species argument. Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom would also make a great family movie. I will say that I think this movie is darker than the first Jurassic World and has some intense scenes. If I had to rate this movie, I would rate it five out of five stars. @Sapphirereads of the Hamilton Public Library Teen Review Board

This is one of the movies I think is worthy of the wait, after watching that, it proves my thoughts. The dinosaurs are raised in a pen by humans since both sides share the same fundamental interests, the Jurassic world has completely improved its primitive sense of cruel, and become modern and exquisite upgraded version of a universal wildlife park, with perfectly integrates the entertaining and interactive nature. The world in Jurassic Park is peaceful until the appearance of a new species of sadistic dragon. It is of the highest intelligence - brutal and bloody ever, and it mixes a variety of genes. Several dinosaurs all gang together to fight against the sadistic dragon, and finally they have success, human are rescued. It is a good movie not only for its visual effects but also it's innovative, it tells me union is the most important thing when we encounter struggles. @Olivia of the Hamilton Public Library Teen Review Board

Claire Dearing: [imprisoned with Owen; watches two dinosaurs, a mother and a child] Do you remember the first time you saw a dinosaur? First time you see them, it's like... a miracle. You read about them in books, you see the bones in museums but you don't really... believe it. They're like myths. And then you see... the first one alive.

Owen Grady: This is not your fault.

Claire Dearing: But it is.

Owen Grady: No. This one's on me. I showed them the way.
