Focusses primarily on those aspects of the study area environmentpertaining to the use of land for human settlement, includingresidential, recreational, institutional, industrial andcommercial uses. There were three primary objectives to the landuse component of the study: 1) Prepare a land use inventory mapfor that part of the study area bordering Lower Arrow Lake to beincluded in the Keenleyside Powerplant Project EnvironmentalImpact Assessment Resource Atlas; 2) Prepare a status report onthe current state of land use planning in the study area; 3)Assess the direct and indirect imnpacts of the project onexisting, planned or proposed land uses and existing planningpolicies are adequate to accommodate conditions brought about theKeenleyside Powerplant Project.
