This study documents the movements and distribution ofnon-migratory elk in summer and early fall; estimates their numbers in themain conflict area between Kimberley, Wasa and Jaffray; documents their useof private lands in summer and early fall; determines the proportion ofcultivated crops in their diet; and interviews ranchers in the study areas todocument the problems being experienced.
