The Fish/Forestry Interaction Program was initiated in 1981 to work towards resolution of conflicts between steep slope logging and the integrated management of fish and forest resources on the Queen Charlotte Islands. These notes present the results of various technical papers and workshops held. Coverage includes: frequency and distribution of landslides; logging related slides; alternative harvesting practices; silviculture alternatives for steep slope logging; major fluvial disturbances; fish habitat changes; hillslope rehabilitation; stream rehabilitation; and working group summaries.
