Owikeno Lake is the largest sockeye salmon producing system in the Central Coast and sockeye returns to this lake support commercial fisheries held in the lower reaches of Rivers Inlet. This report summarizes the 1988 fall enumeration survey and describes changes and enhancements to the system. Operation of the Genesee camp and required repairs are outlined.
