This report examines six known and presently utilized salmon streams within the Seton/Bridge Habitat Management Area, with the objective of expressing the habitat sensitivity of the salmon streams through various indices calculated from the hydrologic, water use, and land use data collected for the streams. The report reviews the physiography, surficial geology, climate, and other characteristics of the Area, and calculates the flow characteristics of the salmon streams. It then assesses the effects of forest harvesting and agricultural land use on the streams, calculates licensed water demand, and determines the sensitivity indices for the streams. The report concludes with technical and management recommendations for stream management and other matters.
