Tenth book in the amusing Falco series. Falco and his partner Anacrites perform tax audits on men who hire gladiators and lions for entertainment. They find one lion murdered, and afterwards a star gladiator is murdered. Falco and his family travel to Africa, where the book finishes with a bloody entertainment called Lepcis Games.
