A story that follows a tree throughout the changing seasons. A great story to read with children that will inspire discussions about their favourite seasons.

An excellent read aloud with beautifully simple illustrations.

In this wonderfully quirky meditation on grappling with change, a deciduous tree explains why winter, spring, and summer are easy transitions compared to fall. Changing the color of your leaves is tricky! The tree's autumnal artistic attempts are sure to elicit giggles and squeals of recognition. The simple poetic lines of text combine with expressive watercolor vignettes to make a delightful seasonal read-aloud for all ages.

One of my favorite books ever! Who can resist the changes this tree goes through trying to get it right?
