On the morning of September 11, 2001, brothers Jules and Gedeon Naudet were working on a documentary about a rookie New York City firefighter. Hearing a roar in the sky, Jules turned his camera upward - just in time to film the only existing image of the first plane crashing into the World Trade Center Tower 1. With cameras rolling, the Naudets follow NYC firefighters into the heart of what would be known as Ground Zero. A striking tribute to real-life heroes who rose to extraordinary acts of courage and compassion.

If you love America and what she stands for, you should watch this documentary. It is in a class of one.

Hands down the best documentary about 9/11. The only film to put you at the scene while it was happening. The film maker was literally documenting the fire department investigating a manhole cover when the first plane flew over the city too low and he moves his camera up to the sky just in time to catch the plane hitting the first tower. It's chaos from there. A must see.

This is a documentary shot by two film makers with hand-held cameras. It covers the pre-9/11 and post-9/11 days as the cameras followed the firemen involved. If you want to know more about this event, the film can provide quite a bit of scenes and info one would not see from TV news broadcasts at that time.

A powerful documentary capturing the fire fighter fraternity before, during, and after 9/11, with harrowing footage shot within the Towers and around during that day. It's an exceptionally moving film.
