Sequel to McCloskey's very popular "Homer Price" book. This sequel will primarily interest tweens and younger. Adults, not as much as the original book. The stories here are a little more silly. Continues the major themes of the first book: (1) you'll notice unusual and interesting things happening all the time if you pay attention; (2) when presented with a puzzling problem, first, don't panic, and second, think outside the box; (3) don't believe everything folks tell you. Always challenge unlikely claims; and (4) when facing something you don't understand, ask somebody more experienced for an explanation, or, better yet, research it yourself at the public library. This book is geared mainly to tweens, but should be interesting from age 7 or 8 through high school age. Recommended.
