A coffee table book that is pretty to look at but not the best if you really want a tree house. Plus it might inflate your children's expectations!

The majority of the houses in this book are not actually treehouses. Most are simply set intimately amongst trees.

In addition, the houses tend to look much the same -- mainly rectilinear modernist designs, which I note is also the style the author (who is an architect) works in.

If you are looking for information on treehouses proper, this is not your book. But some of the houses are beautiful, if you like the style.
