Disappointly predictable storytelling made up this particular book. The characters were very stereotyped and in general this book is very lightweight reading with little to imagine beyond that which one could figure out easily.

I was disappointed with this Diane Chamberlain book. I didn't realise she wrote this kind of saga. This story is part of a series involving Kiss River, an Annie, a Lacey, a whole family of O'Neills & various affairs & lies. I like her stand alone stories so did not persevere with this. I won't rate it 'cos it's just not my type of book but could well suit others.

Although I liked the book, it was very cheeky.
