Plot, below average!
Author probably ripped off Littlest hobo TV show & origin story on genetically modified dog.
Couldn't writer block main author & his assistant could have written on natural disasters (flood, earthquake, ice storm, or megavolcano), refugee crisis, minefield clearance or heaven forbids an actual major galactic war that Captain Jester's Colonel Blimp like superior get his just desserts?
But, no! I gave up on sixth & final book.
