This report reviews the year's activities in British Columbia related to mining & mineral exploration, arranged under five regions of the province (north-west, northeast-central, south-west, south central, Kootenay). Information is included on exploration trends, mines (metal, industrial mineral, placer, coal) and their production, and exploration projects. The final section contains two geological reports, the first on the nickel-copper-platinum group deposits in the Pacific nickel complex of south-west British Columbia and the second on aluminous alteration in the Briton hematite prospect in the Chilcotin Ranges.
