Report of Findings, the Class of 2000 Two Years After GraduationMicroform - 2004
This report presents findings of a survey conducted in 2002 of British Columbia university graduates who had completed their bachelor degrees in 2000. The survey was designed to explore the graduates' university experience as well as their post-graduate experience in areas such as further education & the labour market. After introductory sections on the survey method & respondent demographics, results are presented & discussed with regard to the academic program taken, assessment of the quality of the program, time taken to complete the program, skills acquired, the utility of the university program, work experience, further education undertaken, education financing & debt, and labour market outcomes (unemployment, earnings, occupational types & skill levels, employment characteristics). The final sections contain a closer examination of the outcomes for Aboriginal graduates and graduates with disabilities.
