James Bond.

This 1999 thriller and action film stars Pierce Brosnan, Sophie Marceau, Denise Richards, Robert Carlyle and more. The film is about Bond, James Bond, who must put an end to an international power struggle before it is too late. As always, James Bond films are full of action and have many dramatic yet sophisticated moments. I will admit, I didn’t enjoy the casting choice for this film and felt like many of the actors and characters were out of place. I would rate this movie 3/5 stars and recommend it to those who are fans of the James Bond franchise. @The_Reviewer of the Hamilton Public Library Teen Review Board

Yeah, but this movie is too much.
Garbage, from beginning to end.
Again, notice the prominence of all the women characters, and the utter absurdity (even for a Bond film). And again, this all coincided with Broccoli's daughter taking over the Production of these films. It's been ramping up over time since this beginning, but it still won't be good enough for her. Eventually they will have a woman Bond. LOL Kiss this franchise goodbye. I'm hoping someone else will pick up the type of character that Bond is supposed to be, and start producing utterly Politically Incorrect movies again. This one is a far cry from that, and a total waste of Robbie Coltrane.

Aw, come on, who wouldn't believe Denise Richards as a nuclear scientist.
With Trudough hyped to be the next PM of Canada this is well in line casting.

Bond finds himself caught up in an investigation into an anarchist and his group, tied into an oil company heiress whose father has been assassinated. The bad in the film: a nuclear scientist played by Denise Richards of all people is not believable at all, and should have been cast entirely differently. That said, however, the good outweighs the bad. Brosnan plays the role of Bond well in his third time out, and he's matched off against formidable villains: Robert Carlyle as Renard is sadistic and ruthless, and Sophie Marceau as the two faced heiress who first seduces Bond and then shows her true colours is memorable. Add to that a good turn by Judi Dench as M, a fun character role for Robbie Coltrane, and the swan song for the late Desmond Llewlyn as Q, and the good in the film does compensate for the horrible casting job of Denise Richards.

Not one of the better Bond movies.
