In one of the few cloud forests in the world, Lisa Dabek and her team are trying to find and study some tree kangaroos, one of the rarest, strangest, and least understood creatures on our planet.

As I read through this book my curiosity was peaked. Hearing about the immense diversity of life on New Guinea had me putting down the book to find images and videos so I could learn more. The images in the book were lacking the depth needed to match the richness of the islands flora and fauna detailed in the book. It was refreshing to hear of the enormity of the task to assemble, supply, and actual trek to a remote research site.
