Duncan Kincaid with the help of Gemma James investigate the death of his neighbor Jasmine. Is it murder, natural or suicide? The suspects include a downstairs friend, Jasmine's brother, or the home nurse and her boyfriend. It takes a long time to establish the motive. We also learn about Duncan and Gemma, their evolving relationship and their personal lives. A simple plot, a quick read and a satisfying novel. Onto the next one by Crombie.
