I didn’t like how this movie abruptly end without any conclusion such as in the book.
Creating Italy and France with only English spoken on the series is a big challenge all on its own.

The story is exciting, sad and somewhat bizarre, as was Casanova's life. Rarely you would find a younger and older version for a character shown so evenly from a time point of view so there is no one main Casanova but two. A typical type-cast for this fun, life loving, care free and free spirit that can find himself at a king's court on one moment, and in jail cell on the next.

Funny and entertaining from start to finish. I was rather surprised (and impressed) to see a small segment of Matt Lucas (Little Britain) in the film. Both Tennant and O'Toole have done a brilliant performance. I recommend this to adult audiences only.

I really liked this one. The costumes were spectacular and it was quite entertaining. David Tennant played the roll well.
