Well worth reading, though infinitely sad. The ending seems pre-ordained, misoginy at its best... Or worst? A story to keep in mind when perusing daily media reports of women's struggles in biased and unjust societies. Also a noteworthy look at a Middle Eastern immigrant's challenges in a Western country.
