Well translated for this classical strategy book

This audiobook is divided in to two halves: the Art of War itself in the first half, and a lengthy commentary in the second.
I found the second half to be more interesting and better narrated than the first. It includes the historical background, political context, and military technological context in which the work was composed. Frankly, it should have started the book, since the Art of War is rather unlike books written in the Western tradition; it would have better prepared our minds for it.
The narrator's voice for the Art of War just sounded, well, not right: a bit blase, a bit affected. It detracted from the work.
