Men aren't a career, you know. A man isn't your life's work, however much he'd like to be.

He had taken his BlackBerry out of his inside pocket several times at the beginning of the session and looked at it longingly. A good story about friendship among women. A rather abrupt ending. Did not seem finished off somehow.

Perhaps not quite up to the standard of some of her other books, but that's being kinda nit-picky. Everything she writes is worth reading. In Friday Nights, she describes a group of women who meet for support and friendship, and whose world is turned into turmoil when one of the women meets a man she wants to introduce to their circle. Trouble follows!! But not chick-lit trouble, actual believable trouble.
