VERY GOOD seventh album by Boz Scaggs, released on Columbia Records in 1976. The album peaked at No. 2 and spent 115 weeks on the Billboard 200. It has been certified five times platinum by the RIAA and remains Scaggs's best selling album.
Several entertaining cuts - including terrific 'Lowdown' - one of Boz' best.

"that dirty, dirty, dirty, dirty lowdown..." This was the biggest selling album of Scaggs' career. It generated several high-charting singles. He started out rooming with a future big rock star, the source of THE JOKER, and TAKE THE MONEY AND RUN and BIG OLD JET AIRLINER and other apparently guitar driven pop hits which were actually based around keyboards, instead. But that is not Boz's story. He eventually settled in Frisco, buying a music venue South of Market. He's still making records. This one was the most popular.
Love this Boz Scaggs.
