This is how John Lennon's evolution from beloved Beatle to an outspoken artist and activist to iconic inspiration for peace, and how, in the midst of one of the most tumultuous times in American history, Lennon stood his ground, refused to be silenced and courageously won his battle with the U.S. Government.

John and Yoko couldn't pull off today, what they pulled off in this Doc back in the day. Amazing how it's clear that Lennon and his comrades were right, way ahead of their time, and yet here in 2016 it's the same militaristic atrocities being performed. Where is Canada's John Lennon. and Yoko Ono? Very informative DVD.

I like some of John Lennon's songs but after this movie I could see why he's favored by so many. This defines a lot more of the man behind the music as well as the turbulent times he lived in and the dangerous scenarios he would find himself entangled.
