The Commissioner provides advice & counsel to Members of the British Columbia Legislative Assembly, as well as recommendations regarding Members' activities, in relation to the Members' Conflict of Interest Act. This report reviews operations of the Commissioner's office during the year, with a focus on the inquiry into the conduct of Premier Glen Clark and his possible involvement in the government's granting of approval in principle for the establishment of a charitable casino. It summarizes the proceedings of this inquiry & the Commissioner's findings, and proposes an amendment to the Members' Conflict of Interest Act.
