Great book. After the death of her grandparents by suicide in 1991, the author speaks to many friends and relatives trying to piece together who her grandparents were and what drove them to commit suicide together. Their past lives are intertwined with the day of their suicide.

Shelf Talker: An exploration by a Danish author of her Hungarian grandparents' lives as World War II survivors, and their suicides in their 70s. In reconstructing the last day of their lives, Johanna Adorján has written a sad but tender story.
