The beautifully written story of how Kye Petersen, son of freeskier Trevor Petersen, came to ski the Glacier Rond where his father died in an avalanche. Kerig's descriptions never veer into the mawkish or sentimental, and he captures the beauty of the mountains as clearly as the personalities of the skiing tribe who help Kye on his journey. A must read for skiers.
