I picked this up out of curiosity. The Way the Amish do things, while I may not agree with some of them because I believe there is liberty in Christ, they do have a point. Why have Social Security when you can take care of your own elderly? To protect yourself from the world and its influences abstain from technology. How they value family, community and purity is also intriguing. It makes you look at your own Christian walk and think of what you can grow in certain areas. A great read.

Takes some effort to get through, but well worth the effort. Not only is this book extremely informative, it is also very inspiring... the best "devotional" I've read in a long time.
