The reader of As Husbands Go really put me off, she read well but in a boring way & this was supposed to be a mystery!!
Too much fodder about the newly widowed wife. Who turned out to be naive, believing everything she is told.
Also a fairly predictable outcome.
At the start she refers to her 'au pair' girls towards the end the kids are not mentioned at all.
I would not recommend this to anyone!

I thought this book was gonna be really good, and I was very disappointed. It could have something to do with the reader, I'm not a fan of her slow, precise diction, but also the book just didn't go anywhere....didn't love the characters and it was just a real bore. I couldn't wait for it to end. I'm actually surprised I didn't return it before I finished.

disc 1 seemed to be almost all about her and her over bite--definitely a book to be returned to writer as only she would want to finish it!
