Recommend Special Features of this series if one is unfamiliar with the historical importance of Garrow to modern day law & judicial system. Period piece, wigs, class snobbery & privilege, language of the time. Each trial is taken from Old Bailey procedures as fact at a time when 12 year old poor children could be hung or burned to death on real or false charges. I feel fortunate to have come across this series.

Wonderful series. An authentic- production-values 'time machine' ! I only wish there were more episodes,.. and evin more bonus extras about the legal procedures at that time.

The trials and travails of Willam Garrow continue in Garrow's Law, Series 2. Garrow takes a case of fraud involving African slaves and establishes a new legal precedent. A case of libel exposes a scandal involving Lords who are supposed to be providing food and shelter for retired British sailors but who are enriching themselves instead. Once Garrow's and Lady Sarah's relationship resumes a potentially devastating lawsuit is brought against Garrow when Lady Sarah's marriage is invalidated.

One of my favorite series of all times next to Bramwell series. If you are romantic at all you will like this series. Also very interesting cases for your intellect. I like that it is based on actual historical events which make's it more authentic. Can't wait to get series 3. Hope BBC will continue this series with same actors. All are wonderful!

Superb series. Wonderful acting, interesting cases from the Old Bailey, and just excellent British drama! I wasn't sure if Season 2 would be as good as the first one. Generally, it is equally great. Series 1 is still a little better, though. I missed Lynsey Marshal's character's involvement in the court cases in Series 2. Highly recommended.
