while i have not read the entire series i still enjoyed Waking the witch; however i couldn't get into this book it was too slow paced for my taste. I probably won't read the thirteen, but i do want to read more about hope after reading this book.

Hey, quick question about this serie. Do you have to read ithe novels in order for it to make sense or can every novel be read independently and not in order? If yes, which novel did you guys enoyed the most? Thanks.

If you like paranormal stories set in everyday life, with strong female leads, good hot sexual tension (and sometimes a little sex, although that is not the focus), and lots of action, this is your series. Particularly recommended for those who like books by Rachel Caine or Kim Harrison.

A really ncie read. Interesting to see how the relationship evolves between Savannah and Adam, in between all the developments that occur in the evolution of the story. It will be interesting to see how all this comes to a head and whether the prophesy is true or if it's all a big giant coincidence. Oh, and how they'll manage the big save to preserve them all.

This book is the final in the Women of the Underworld Series. :( 12 books in all.... And ALL excellent! I can only hope in time, Kelley will decide to add to this series. Throughout the books you get to see Savannah grow up... The WHOLE series is a MUST READ!!

As always Kelley Armstrong delivers a great and perfectly written fiction.

Spellbound and Waking the Witch need to be read together. The Spellbound is the continuation of Waking the Witch. Glad i read them back to back. Kelley Armstrong, always writes a winner in my eyes and yes this one was too. Usually there is tones of suspense and romance in her novels. But this one not so much. I hope she never stops writing these novels.

Savannah Levine is in terrible danger, and for once she's powerless to help herself. At the conclusion of waking the witch, savannah - an extrodinarily powerful young witch, with a dangerous pedigree - swore that she would give up her spells if it would help a young girl caught in a horrible bind. Little did Savannah know that someone would take her up on that offer.
And now, witch-hunting assassins, necromancers, half-demons, and rouge supernaturals all seem to be after her. The threat is not just to Savannah - every member of the Otherworld might be at risk. While most of her fellow supernaturals are circling the wagons at a gathering of the council in Miami, Savannah is caught on the road, isolated from those who can protect her and unable to use her vast spell-casting talent - the things she counts on most - against her enemies. And her frantic reaction to her situation might just alienate her best friend, Adam, just as it finally looks like he might become more than a friend.
A story that will change the shape of the Otherworld forever, spell bound gathers Elena, Clay, Paige, Lucas, Hope, and the rest, who soon learn that the greatest threat to supernaturals may come from thier own ranks.
