Seemed to me like a stale version of Doc Martin with its "urban professional meets eccentric locals". Disappointing that the great Stephen Fry could not be put to better use.

Peter's brother and law partner Simon returns to town in Kingdom, Series Two. Simon is arrested for faking his own death but Simon's stash of money is used to make bail. Peter's sister Beatrice finds out that she is pregnant however the father is not revealed. Lyle Anderson does much of the legal work during the series' six episodes. At the end of series two Lyle qualifies as a solicitor and he accepts a partnership in the law practice. The episodes contain the usual odd ball residents who need legal services. Series two is more dramatic and entertaining than the first series.
