This is a really tough one to review. It feels far more like a middle-grade story with illustrations than it does a picture book for 4-8-year-old readers, especially since it deals with Facebook, social media, and grades -- subjects 6-8 grade kids are dealing with these days. I am well aware that kids read up, but this feels like a subject too mature for the picture book. It was handled well, but parents should be aware that it really straddles the lines between age groups and is more appropriate for the 4th or 5th-grade reader than the younger child.

It's a great book to read with your kids, so they can learn to respect each other regardless of who they are, where they come from or their color.
