This book is a very good book to bring on trips and car rides. It was interesting and had a good story, but it was sometimes difficult to follow and quite confusing at times. I liked how it incorporated many different fairy tales while still being fun and interesting.

This is not the first book in the series.

So I checked out this book thinking that it was and was thouroughly dissapointed. I could not follow along with the story since I had not read the first book and became extremely frustrated and confused.

That aside, this was a pretty good fairy tale retelling, not very new or twisty, but it was a fun book, I suppose that Annie's power was kind-of cool, and it had a fairly good Plot, I did like the way that they combined stories, well besides the nursery rhymes, I didn't really like those, (Mother Hubbard) and I think that if I had read the first book that I would have really enjoyed it.

I really liked this book, and look forward to reading E.D Baker's other books! Her books are very entertaining, and as soon as I picked the book up, I read it all the way through. I really liked the twists to the story, and how the author wove into the story pretty much every single fairy tale I have heard of, excepting Beauty and the Beast. I have read three of her other books and highly recommend them as well!
