While I found the last three chapters to be of no use if you have common sense, I found the rest of the book to be rather good.

This is a quick read covering some good ideas on how to deal with others at work. It's based on woman to woman interactions, but some of the advice could be relevant for everyone and in relationships outside work also. The basic advice is do not react in the heat of the moment. Take a few deep breaths, figure out what the best response is, and if that is not readily apparent, ask advice. The situations seem to be taken from real scenarios, so the suggested responses are helpful. A good read for people just starting out in the workplace.

Women (and men) of all ages, could benefit from this book. As someone who is new to the workforce, I found this extremely valuable. I especially appreciate the specific action items on how to handle a bad situation. This book is very well organized, reviewing 5 or 6 different types of Mean Girls, discusses what not to do, what do to, etc.
