You know, this movie isn't bad for made for tv in the year 1981. It's not really scary, it's not incredibly original, but there is an awlful lot of heart in it. It reminded me of "the Car" and "Devil Dog: Hound from Hell" (which brought back fun memories of staying up late with my Uncle and Dad respectively every year to watch them on tv) So if you like the look and feel from that time you'll enjoy this. If you are looking for something gory, or freakishly scary, i think you will be disappointed.

This retro made-for-television film is done well enough! I love how the script and the characters worked. The villains, particularly the chief one, was portrayed very well. I also liked the fact that the makers of this film chose to eliminate the gore factor and instead played on suspense and the viewer's imagination. I think that's a brilliant type of way to make a horror movie.
