This is the very first graphic edition of Rick Riordan's books that I ever read. I also read it before I read the actual book, which I would not recommend people to do as it got a bit confusing. Reading the physical book first would probably have given me more background information and assistance with the graphic novel, which is what I suggest readers do. This one is more so another perspective of how characters looked and whatnot, with the majority of the plot entwined in it. Personally, I liked how they looked in my head a bit better.

if you read the book the graphic novel adds pictures to the actual book because the book is just letters so you have to picture the Characters i your mind but the comic lets you see what they look like.
